About The Position

At RYZE, we believe daily rituals create the foundation for living your greatest life. Our mushroom coffee and superfood products fuel the body and clarify the mind—helping people everywhere unlock their highest potential. We’re a fast-growing, mission-driven team passionate about wellness, innovation, and building a brighter future together. This is a hands-on senior leadership role, not simply vendor management. The Senior Director will establish fulfillment strategy, design scalable operational systems, build and develop a high-performing team, and drive strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, Planning, and Technology. This role will serve as a key member of the Operations Leadership Team and a trusted advisor to the EVP on network strategy, operational investments, and long-term capacity planning. The ideal candidate brings deep operational ownership and a proven track record leading complex fulfillment networks. This includes direct P&L accountability across multiple nodes, navigating OTIF performance requirements and retailer chargebacks at scale, and successfully leading organizations through high-volume peak seasons while maintaining service excellence. The Role: We are seeking a strategic and operationally driven Senior Director of Fulfillment Operations to lead end-to-end fulfillment across our retail channels—including Target and other national accounts—as well as our direct-to-consumer (DTC) business. In this role, you will define and execute the vision for our fulfillment network, with full accountability for service level performance, cost optimization, inventory accuracy, and scalable infrastructure across our 3PL ecosystem and logistics partners. This is a hands-on leadership role, not simply vendor management. You will build fulfillment strategy from the ground up, design scalable systems, and develop a high-performing team while partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Planning, and Technology. As a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, you will serve as a trusted advisor on network strategy, operational investments, and long-term capacity planning.

  • Deep experience with big-box retail fulfillment (Target strongly preferred; Walmart, Costco, or Amazon Retail also valued)
  • Proven track record reducing chargebacks, deductions, and service failures through systemic operational improvements
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen with the ability to build business cases and model operational scenarios
  • Experience operating in high-growth, high-ambiguity environments and scaling infrastructure accordingly
  • Deep understanding of fulfillment systems including WMS, OMS, and EDI integrations
