Job Summary The Senior Director, Marketing Intelligence & Program Strategy will lead enterprise-level healthcare marketing initiatives by combining strategic program leadership with deep data-driven insight. This position will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating complex marketing data and industry data into actionable strategies, while overseeing the execution of high-impact marketing programs that drive patient engagement, brand growth, and regulatory compliance. This position typically reports to the Vice President, Digital Marketing & Consumer Engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business/Strategy or related field required.
  • Ten (10) years progressive professional experience in marketing roles involving program execution and/or marketing analytics required.
  • Experience in healthcare marketing, consulting and/or program leadership required.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing campaign management, marketing analytics data visualization platforms, CRM systems and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong computer skills expected including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree (MBA, MHA or MS in related field) preferred.
  • Five (5) years of management experience and proven success in leading data-informed marketing strategies and large-scale program delivery preferred.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, patient engagement and digital health trends.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the design and execution of large-scale healthcare marketing programs across payer, provider and life sciences segments.
  • Aligns marketing initiatives with system-wide goals, regulatory standards and patient-centric strategies.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (clinical, digital, compliance, creative) to ensure seamless program delivery.
  • Serves as a senior liaison to executive leadership, providing visibility into program performance and strategic alignment.
  • Facilitates workshops to define campaign roadmaps, patient journeys and conversion optimization.
  • Oversees the development of marketing dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Leads market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and unmet consumer needs.
  • Translates complex data into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations for marketing leadership.
  • Champions the use of data science, segmentation, and personalization to optimize campaign effectiveness across larger marketing organization.
  • Ensures data governance and compliance with healthcare data regulations.
  • Mentors, leads, and develops talent across both program management and marketing analytics functions.
  • Contributes to enterprise planning, innovation initiatives and thought leadership in healthcare marketing.
  • Represents the organization at industry events, conferences and forums.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
