About The Position

Directs, plans, organizes, and evaluates systemic approaches that contribute to the organization's Learning and Development function. Plans and directs the efficient use of budget, materials, technology and human resources.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • 8-12 years of prior experience, preferred
  • 7+ years of leadership experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Works on complex matters where analysis of issues, data, processes and situations require advanced knowledge of functional objectives and industry/technical knowledge which may have long-term impact in learning and organizational development
  • Develops and implements strategic plans, drives departmental goals and objectives, and improves performance across multiple sites or larger portfolios
  • Decisions typically relate to the interdepartmental coordination, development and implementation of new/updated programs or large scale strategic projects and business outcomes
  • Identifies opportunities to initiate operational change across multiple departments within learnign and organizational development
  • Acts independently to resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs
  • Plans and recommends programs to accomplish long-range objectives
  • Plans and recommends programs to accomplish long-range objectives
  • Assists with making recommendations to senior and executive leadership regarding strategic direction for key programs and/or services
  • Develops and implements strategic plans, drives departmental and family goals and objectives, and improves performance across multiple sites or larger portfolios
  • Provides guidance and direction to managers as appropriate
