SUMMARY: Reporting to the Vice President, GU Marketing, the Sr. Director, RCC Marketing Strategy will lead the development of the three-year strategic brand plan, annual strategic plan, and line extension launch planning for possible new RCC products and/or indications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the cross functional effort required to generate and refresh the RCC 3 year and annual strategic brand plans and competitive readiness plans Establish a strategic framework and lead potential joint commercial collaborations with partner organizations Communicate and ensure organizational alignment to RCC strategic brand plan Co-manage the indication financial plan Collaborate with the commercial operations team to ensure effective forecast development for RCC Support the brand by conducting periodic, deep-dive market assessments Collaborate with commercial operations to optimize market research effecting RCC brand strategy Drive appropriate choices for required target product profile Collaborate with Sales Operations for development of sales incentives and sales analytics Responsible for managing the RCC brand budget and supports necessary ROI analysis Engage with GU key customers and accounts to develop market insights Execute RCC strategic programs as required by the brand Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern Exelixis conduct Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervise employee(s). Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The base pay range for this position is $252,500 - $358,000 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate’s geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location. The base pay offered will take into account the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity, among other factors. In addition to the base salary, as part of our Total Rewards program, Exelixis offers comprehensive employee benefits package, including a 401k plan with generous company contributions, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts. Employees are also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus program, or if field sales staff, a sales-based incentive plan.
