Role Overview The Senior Director, Global Workplace Strategy & Experience owns the global workplace and real estate operating model, translating business strategy into a scalable, employee-centered workplace experience. This role combines portfolio strategy, operational leadership, and culture enablement, with direct accountability for global execution. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Senior Director serves as the executive owner of workplace strategy, advising senior leadership on portfolio decisions, hybrid work implications, and long-term footprint planning. This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years in global real estate, workplace, or corporate services leadership
  • Experience owning multi-country portfolios and executive-level decision-making
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic planning capability
  • Credible executive presence and stakeholder influence

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the global real estate and workplace strategy aligned to business growth, hybrid work, and financial objectives.
  • Lead real estate portfolio planning, including site selection, expansions, consolidations, and exits.
  • Provide executive recommendations on long-term footprint strategy and cost optimization.
  • Establish global facilities and workplace operating standards and governance.
  • Lead regional workplace leaders and facilities teams across all geographies.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality operations, safety, and service delivery worldwide.
  • Oversee vendor strategy and some global contracts.
  • Design workplace experiences that reinforce culture, inclusion, and collaboration.
  • Partner with Talent Management, EX, and Culture teams to align physical space with employee experience strategy.
  • Lead hybrid and on-site experience models that balance flexibility, productivity, and connection.
  • Own global health, safety, and workplace risk management frameworks.
  • Partner with Security and Legal on crisis management, emergency preparedness, and compliance.
  • Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance across all regions.
  • Act as the executive advisor on workplace and real estate matters to the CPO and senior leadership team.
  • Lead workplace integration for acquisitions and global expansions.
  • Own global workplace budgets, forecasting, and performance metrics.
  • Build and develop a high-performing global team.
