We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Director, Finance, to serve as a key member of our executive team. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy. Requirements

  • 7–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years in a Controller, CFO, or equivalent leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and risk management
  • Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional leadership and team development capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools

Nice To Haves

  • CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
  • Experience in agriculture or financial services preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide vision and leadership for financial planning and overall fiscal management.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to drive business performance and decision-making.
  • Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial policies.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting efforts.
  • Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Monitor performance against budget and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital planning.
  • Develop strategies to optimize financial resources and ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting team members.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Present financial performance and strategic insights to leadership and board members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and partners.
