About The Position

The Senior Director - Data Integration and Readiness Lead is accountable for defining, governing, and accomplishing all NON‑SAP data readiness activities required to support Data Loads across SIT, UAT, DIL, and Cutover for each deployment. This leader works closely with BTGs, process leads, and program leads to ensure coordinated and timely readiness of all NON‑SAP system data. The role ensures end‑to-end continuity of governance, connected systems, data flows, and reporting across the lifecycle of the S/4 deployment. This includes alignment and integration with dozens of NON‑SAP and legacy ECC systems. Operating within a highly matrixed environment that includes Technology, Process, and legacy system owners, the Senior Director represents the Data team across Manufacturing Operations, Finance, and Commercial functions. The role is responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies that deliver “data readiness” to support integrated business processes between S/4 and NON‑SAP systems. This includes ensuring interim‑state and legacy‑state connectivity throughout the deployment journey. Typical Accountabilities: Develop and lead a multi‑year strategy that uses S/4HANA fit-to-standard processes and data to transform end-to-end business processes across Operations and Finance. Lead matrixed teams to translate business process, testing, and deployment requirements into comprehensive data readiness plans that shape data solutions, interim‑state architectures, and analytics needs across Operations and Finance. Ensure coordinated readiness of NON-SAP system data across SIT, UAT, DIL and Cutover, working closely with BTGs, process leads, and program leads to align data flows between S/4 and connected legacy systems. Build and sustain positive relationships with senior and executive interested parties to improve the value of data assets and services across program portfolios, and influence architecture design, data access, and solution decisions. Collaborate across the AstraZeneca Data, Digital, and AI communities to establish protocols, embed standards, and identify multi-functional opportunities that drive value. Provide oversight, direction, and accountability for third‑party partners, academic collaborators, and outsourced teams that support the S/4HANA transformation program.
