We’re looking for a Senior Director of Content who lives at the intersection of sport, creators, and platform — someone who knows how to build social-first, creator-powered franchises that don’t just show up in feeds, but dominate them. This role requires instinctive fluency in how YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms reward content — and how to engineer short- and mid-form formats that cut through, scale fast, and drive global fandom. This is a true player-coach role. Approximately 50% is hands-on — leading premium branded content and original IP from bold concepting through production, post, and performance-driven distribution. The other 50% is strategic leadership — developing repeatable formats, packaging talent, and harnessing real-time data to continuously optimize reach, retention, and revenue. At DAZN and Team Whistle, distribution isn’t an afterthought — it’s built into the creative DNA from day one. You’ll oversee the full content lifecycle — from development and talent partnerships to launch and optimization — ensuring every franchise ladders up to Whistle’s voice, audience growth ambitions, and commercial goals. Working cross-functionally across Content, Social, Sales, Marketing, and Talent, you’ll help build scalable, high-impact sports IP that lives across platforms, fuels engagement, and converts fandom into measurable business impact.
