Summary: In this role, you will manage complex editorial projects and contribute to a diverse set of publications including reports, guides, newsletters and case studies to help industry executives anticipate and plan for emerging trends in the field. You will collaborate with Sg2's health care experts to develop unique, compelling publications to inform clients' business strategy.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree preferred. Degree in Journalism or Communications strongly preferred.
  • 7 or more years of experience in health care business, consulting, medical writing or reporting required.
  • Demonstrated ability to author both short and long-form reports and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Team focused approach to effectively lead and contribute on projects requiring various stakeholders.
  • Strong content and data visualization skills required.
  • Must provide writing samples and portfolio demonstrating past work.

  • Project management skills a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to content development as a core member of the Intelligence Research team, aligned with Sg2’s research agenda and Data & Digital Business Unit’s strategic priorities.
  • Lead the development of clear, compelling outlines and drafts for publications aimed at senior health system and strategy executives, across formats including reports, executive guides, case studies, newsletters, and digital content.
  • Edit and refine content produced by subject matter experts to ensure alignment with Sg2’s research agenda, point of view, and audience expectations.
  • Synthesize insights from internal research, proprietary data, and relevant external sources into cohesive, actionable narratives.
  • Conduct client interviews to develop case studies that strengthen editorial projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time and within established budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and colleagues to drive content from concept through publication.
