Key Responsibilities As our Senior Digital Strategist, you'll develop and own strategy for a portfolio of clients across diverse industries. You won't be handed a playbook — you'll be expected to build one that fits each client's unique situation. You'll work cross-functionally with SEO, content, web design, marketing, and project management teams to make sure strategy turns into results.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Advertising, Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience: 5+ years in digital marketing with demonstrated strength in SEO and content strategy
  • SEO & Content Strategy: Strong keyword research and content strategy skills with the ability to bring all the pieces together — topical authority, content architecture, audience intent, and channel selection — into strategies that drive traffic and convert
  • Analytics: Proficient in tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs — and comfortable pulling your own data
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to assess a client's situation and identify where the opportunity actually is — not just the most obvious answer
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communicator who can translate strategy into something teammates and clients can act on
  • Organization: Able to manage a multi-client workload with competing timelines without dropping the ball

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development Develop digital strategies that connect SEO, content, and customer journey thinking into a plan that actually fits the client — not just a template
  • Identify where the real opportunity is for each client, which means knowing when the obvious answer is right and when a different channel, format, or approach creates a better path forward
  • Help determine the right channel mix for different client scenarios based on competitive landscape, audience behavior, and realistic growth opportunities
  • Map content and messaging to customer journey stages — understanding where intent shifts and how to reach audiences at the right moment
  • Evaluate on-page strategy including content structure, internal linking, heading hierarchy, and page-level effectiveness
  • Identify content gaps, prioritize opportunities, and build content architectures that support both rankings and conversions
  • SEO & Keyword Research Conduct keyword research that surfaces high-value opportunities aligned with client goals and real audience intent
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies that improve organic visibility across search engines and platforms including Google, YouTube, Tik Tok, and LLMs like Gemini, Chat GPT, and others.
  • Stay current on algorithm updates, AI-driven search behavior, and SERP evolution — and bring those insights into active client work
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting Pull and analyze your own performance data across organic traffic, rankings, engagement, and conversions — without waiting on someone else to surface it
  • Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations and present findings to internal teams and clients
  • Connect digital strategy outcomes to broader business goals in a way that clients can understand and act on
  • Collaboration & Communication Work closely with SEO, content, paid, web design, and other teams to make sure strategies are integrated and actually implemented
  • Present strategies and performance to internal stakeholders and, over time, directly to client contacts
  • Contribute to a team culture of learning — share what you're seeing, what's working, and what isn't
