Senior Digital Hardware Design Engineer
About The Position
Energy Talent Search is working with an established, engineering -focused manufacturer that develops complex electronic systems used in demanding, high -performance environments. <\/p> We are seeking a Senior Digital Hardware Design Engineer with strong mixed -signal experience and board -level design expertise. This role combines advanced hardware development with hands -on production support, making it ideal for engineers who enjoy seeing their designs move from initial concept through long -term manufacturing. <\/p> This position requires close collaboration with both design and operations teams to ensure performance optimization, component continuity, and production stability. <\/p>
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field <\/div>
- 5+ years of hands -on digital hardware design experience<\/b> <\/div>
- Strong board -level mixed -signal circuit development background <\/div>
- Experience working with FPGA -based systems <\/div>
- Proficiency in schematic capture and hardware debugging <\/div>
- Ability to analyze signal integrity and power performance <\/div>
- Comfortable supporting both development and manufacturing environments <\/div>
Nice To Haves
- Experience with high -speed digital design <\/div>
- Exposure to ASICs, DACs, PLLs, amplifiers, and power management circuits <\/div>
- Experience supporting early -stage prototype hardware <\/div>
- Strong cross -functional communication skills <\/div>
Responsibilities
- Design and develop digital and mixed -signal circuit boards <\/div>
- Perform schematic capture and support PCB layout integration <\/div>
- Select components and evaluate alternate parts when necessary <\/div>
- Support FPGA -based architectures and signal processing integration <\/div>
- Conduct power optimization and system -level performance analysis <\/div>
- Lead prototype bring -up and hardware validation testing <\/div>
- Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators <\/div>
- Troubleshoot hardware issues impacting production timelines <\/div>
- Support engineering change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts <\/div>
