About The Position

I'm Jasin Ali, and I'm heading the Trouble Ticketing Platform. As a member of my team, you'll play a key role in maintaining reliability of our on-premises ServiceNow instance - consolidated Trouble Ticketing system that supports Telia's Service Assurance processes across all countries and for all technology domains. As a DevOps Engineer You'll ensure the availability and performance of our production and non-production ServiceNow environments, improve system reliability and delivery speed, and support ongoing innovation. You'll provide operational support, collaborate with development and infrastructure teams, and drive automation to build scalable, resilient systems - all while maintaining high standards for service quality and performance. Requirements

  • Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and PostgreSQL, with strong networking fundamentals
  • Proficient in structured and object-oriented programming, with experience in languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript
  • Setting up, maintaining, and working within continuous integration (CI) pipelines
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Fluent in English (both verbally and written)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ServiceNow development (ideally with on-premises installations)
  • Good knowledge of the ITIL framework
  • Hands-on experience working with RESTful API integrations and messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
