We’re hiring a Senior Development Coordinator in Little Rock, Arkansas. The responsibilities of this role include senior-level support to the Executive Director of Little Rock, office-wide financial management and data entry, volunteer recruitment and management, and backup to the event manager as needed. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • At least 5 years of prior administrative support experience in a related environment.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. These skills are subject to testing.
  • Ability to work outside of standard hours, which may involve some evenings and/or weekends, and the ability to travel to local events.
  • Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components, or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Canva, Greater Giving, or Luminate is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all finances for the Little Rock office, including handling all accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks, such as processing cash/check payments, sponsorship agreements, and vendor invoices. Assist directors in collecting any unpaid funds pledged by donors.
  • Lead check-in and checkout procedures in-person at local events, including training of volunteers, processing all financial transactions, and handling cash.
  • Compose and send donor acknowledgments.
  • Recruit, train, and lead volunteers, including event volunteers.
  • Support the Executive Director Little Rock (ED) with the Board of Directors reporting, preparation for board meetings, and communication with board members.
  • Support the ED with implementing stewardship for the market and other tasks related to the market.
  • Oversee and handle all aspects related to the office facilities and general office including ordering supplies for the office, work with building maintenance contractors when repairs or maintenance are required, in partnership with the Sr. Facilities Director.
  • Maintain an orderly filing system for correspondence and other documents.
  • Ensure accuracy and adherence to the latest policies and practices as they relate to fiscal and event financials. Oversee mail opening procedures, ensuring to follow organizational policies.
  • Maintain data entry of sponsorships, donations, auction items, and bids, and other financial gifts for Heart Walk, Heart Ball, Go Red for Women, and Circle of Red.
  • Input and maintain high-quality, accurate data in all systems, including Luminate, Greater Giving, and Salesforce. Data includes information regarding prospective and existing donors, event participants, financial transactions, auction items, and more.
  • Travel will be required to events within Little Rock, Hot Springs, and the surrounding service territory.
