As a Senior Platform Support Developer, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day technical aspects of our software maintenance and support activities across two large SFDC instances (Sales, Service, and Commerce Cloud heavy.) This position requires a hands-on approach to SFDC solution design, project delivery, platform maintenance, and technical oversight. Preference to individuals with experience and background in design, build, and support of Sales, Service, and Commerce Cloud implementations. This role will be leading our Salesforce Ecosystem Support “Pod” to tackle production issues, smaller enhancements, and ticket triage of user issues. You will be responsible for the backlog of support tickets, hot fix/minor/major releases for support items, and daily support for our Sales and Consumer Service business teams. Job Requirements: Hands-On Development: Take an active role in the development process by contributing to complex Salesforce issues, requiring expertise in both Apex and front-end Lightning Web Components (LWC). Salesforce Solutions: Design and build Salesforce solutions that integrate with various Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, Salesforce Communities, and Knowledge). End-to-End Development: Develop Salesforce solutions from configuration to customization, utilizing tools such as Flow Automation, Triggers, Visualforce, and Lightning Components. Agile Team Participation: Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze and assign user stories, and identify/resolves gaps in functional requirements and business user stories. Collaborate with Product Owners: Work closely with Product Owners to understand acceptance criteria and document technical approaches and designs as needed. Process Automation: Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, including Flows, Formulas, Assignment Rules, and Email Alerts. Integration Development: Build integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Single Sign-On. Data Migration: Manage data updates and migrations using Data Loader and similar tools. Code Quality: Adhere to best practices for clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Perform code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and ensure 85% test coverage. Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Effectively debug and resolve defects or issues, particularly in production environments. Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior development team members, providing technical expertise and support. Independent Problem Solving: Investigate complex issues independently and clearly communicate solutions and findings.
