About The Position

Move the needle in testing NVIDIA's DriveOS automotive operating system! As a highly skilled and motivated senior software developer you will push the boundaries for AI-enhanced testing and automation. What you'll be doing: You will have a unique opportunity of pushing the boundaries and ensuring the perfect performance of NVIDIA's DriveOS. Your contributions will directly impact our approach of testing DriveOS and its quality. Priorities do often change in a fast-paced environment like ours. Some of the exciting things you will work on are: Developing AI tools to create new and extend existing test strategies to guarantee the highest level of quality from both functional and performance perspectives. Your innovative approach will ensure that DriveOS meets the standards expected from a world-class product. Designing and developing AI-enhanced tools that automate the verification of different software components. Your expertise in developing efficient and reliable automation tools using generative AI will play a crucial role in streamlining our testing processes. Collaborating with multiple development, verification, and customer-facing teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of DriveOS as a product and its real-world applications. Your ability to collaborate effectively is essential for driving continuous improvement. Analyzing and root-causing issues down to the code level, leading the defect fixing process, and providing effective fixes and automating this process using generative AI. Your strong problem-solving skills will allow you to address challenges with efficiency and precision.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in software development.
  • Your consistent track record in developing large-scale, logical code from scratch in Python or C++ will be instrumental in driving our automation efforts.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining pipelines that leverage generative AI.
  • Extensive experience in using AI assistants and coding assistants for problem analysis and problems solving as well as to improve coding efficiency and correctness.
  • Demonstrated experience working with embedded systems, especially networking (Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth) or image processing pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Linux environments.
  • Experience using source control systems such as Git and Perforce as well as CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Very strong analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with requirements and task management systems like Jama, Doors or Jira.
  • Background with developing solutions in cloud-based, and containerized environments (e.g. Kubernetes).
  • Experience in security standards for IT tools and roles- and access-management.
  • Experience in testing safety-relevant systems following the ISO26262 recommendations, especially for the hardware-software-interface
