About The Position
The Powertrain Senior Designer position is for a highly skilled and experienced designer for the Powertrain Design Services group. The primary responsibilities include performing packaging, concept, design, layout and checking related assemblies and components.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Minimum 7 years' design experience
- Extensive experience with NX parametric solid modeling and Teamcenter
- Strong written and oral communications to lead design and packaging meetings
- Strong organization, planning and data management skills
- PC Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or a technology related discipline
- Experience in the design of sheet metal, injection moldings, complex castings and precision machined components
- Ability to apply GD&T and perform component stacks
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
