About The Position

The Global Services team is made up of cryptocurrency investigators, blockchain data experts, and enablement specialists who help transform Chainalysis data into real-world impact. Chainalysis is seeking a customer-focused, technically strong Deployment Strategists to lead the end-to-end delivery, adoption, and ongoing success of our Data Solutions product. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, domain expertise, and customer partnership. This individual will work directly with customers to understand their mission, design and deliver tailored solutions using Chainalysis data and products, and act as a trusted technical and domain advisor. Success in this role requires deep technical capability, an understanding of blockchain and crypto investigations, and an exceptional ability to develop strong customer relations.

Requirements

  • Delivered customer-facing data or analytics solutions specifically within the private sector.
  • Built insights from complex financial datasets and communicated risk-based findings to internal or external audit/compliance stakeholders.
  • Worked directly with customers in AML, KYC, financial crime, or regulatory compliance domains within the Americas region.
  • Experience navigating the compliance requirements of traditional financial institutions or high-growth FinTechs.
  • Operated successfully in fast-paced environments requiring the ability to pivot between different regulatory jurisdictions and customer risk appetites.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, transformation, and building automated compliance monitoring solutions.
  • Experience building notebooks and dashboards that visualize risk metrics and transaction patterns.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and working with large-scale financial transaction data.
  • Ability to quickly develop deep expertise in Chainalysis data structures to map them to traditional banking "Know Your Transaction" (KYT) needs.

  • Ideally supported cryptocurrency compliance workflows, such as alert tuning, SAR filing, or sanctions screening.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of Chainalysis Services engagements, from discovery through implementation, education, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Partner directly with Financial Institution (FI) customers to understand their AML/CFT compliance and market expansion objectives and translate into data-driven monitoring solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain custom compliance workflows, notebooks, and dashboards that allow private sector customers to identify and mitigate exposure to illicit activity.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for Americas-based private sector customers, building trusted relationships through hands-on data expertise and industry knowledge.
  • Lead solution design discussions and technical deep dives focused on integrating Chainalysis data into existing bank infrastructure and compliance stacks.
  • Deliver briefings and presentations to both technical data teams and non-technical compliance leadership, bridging the gap between data science and regulatory expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Product, Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs teams to influence the roadmap for our compliance and market expansion-centric data offerings based on customer feedback.
  • Support and mentor other Services team members by sharing best practices for navigating the unique regulatory and competitive landscape of the Americas (e.g., BSA, Travel Rule, OFAC).
