Job Description: This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of large program deliverables which requires engagement across multiple organizations. Key responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, coordinating delivery, resource planning, providing visibility of program health, and managing program risks, compliance and financials. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners. LOB Position Summary: We are seeking a Sr. Delivery Lead to drive enterprise adoption of GitHub (including GitHub Actions for CI) and the Harness platform for CD, leading initiatives that modernize how teams build, test, and deploy software. The ideal candidate brings hands on experience with software delivery and CI/CD pipelines, along with a strong understanding of platform engineering practices and complex technical workstreams. This role oversees project planning, technical and stakeholder alignment, and risk management to ensure successful rollout and long term adoption of both platforms.

Requirements

  • 2+ years technical project/program management in an engineering, DevOps, or platform team.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a technical analyst, engineer, or DevOps practitioner with exposure to CI/CD tools.
  • Hands‑on experience with Git‑based workflows and CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Ansible, Harness, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and executive communication.
  • Familiarity with pipeline-as-code and automation tooling.
  • Experience building work breakdown structures (WBS), maintaining project plans, and managing cross-team dependencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and leadership audiences.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, or Harness platform implementations.
  • Knowledge of enterprise controls for CI/CD, code scanning, artifact management, secret management, and governance.
  • Experience mapping processes for onboarding, pipeline migration, or platform rollout.
  • Understanding of programming languages (Java, Python, C#, etc.), operating systems, cloud platforms, and modern infrastructure.
  • Experience delivering large-scale transformation or platform engineering initiatives in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Program Delivery & Governance: The Sr. Delivery Lead will manage delivery of the enterprise GitHub CI and Harness CD platform implementations while ensuring alignment with strategic engineering objectives. They will plan, coordinate, and execute key program routines such as kickoffs, status reviews, tollgates, change controls, and technical deep dives. This includes maintaining detailed program plans, timelines, workstreams, dependencies, and risks, as well as driving governance routines and delivering clear executive level and practitioner level updates.
  • Technical Facilitation & Requirements: The Sr. Delivery Lead will manage delivery of the enterprise GitHub CI and Harness CD platform implementations while ensuring alignment with strategic engineering objectives. They will plan, coordinate, and execute key program routines such as kickoffs, status reviews, tollgates, change controls, and technical deep dives. This includes maintaining detailed program plans, timelines, workstreams, dependencies, and risks, as well as driving governance routines and delivering clear executive level and practitioner level updates.
  • Cross Enterprise Coordination: This role requires coordinating delivery across multiple value streams, including platform engineering, InfoSec, cloud engineering, enterprise architecture, and application teams. The Sr. Delivery Lead will partner with teams to guide the migration of existing CI/CD pipelines to GitHub Actions and Harness, while driving alignment on standards, reusable pipeline templates, compliance controls, and governance guardrails.
  • Risk, Dependency, and Issue Management: The candidate will identify and manage cross program risks, technical blockers, and adoption challenges that impact the GitHub and Harness platforms. Responsibilities include overseeing dependency management across engineering groups, security functions, and onboarding teams, while ensuring that all program activities align with enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Communication & Reporting: The Sr. Delivery Lead will create program dashboards, status reports, and leadership summaries that communicate progress across initiatives. They will prepare and deliver updates to senior leadership covering platform readiness, risks, adoption KPIs, and roadmap milestones. Regular coordination across engineering and leadership teams is also expected to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Continuous Improvement: This role will identify opportunities to automate delivery processes and streamline developer onboarding to GitHub and Harness. The candidate will promote enterprise-wide adoption of best practice CI/CD patterns and platform capabilities, while maintaining a continuous learning mindset to stay current with modern CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices.
