About The Position

Under general direction of the Senior Enterprise Analytics Manager, supports the operationalization and adoption of DFW’s Data 360 Program for the business user community across the airport. Manages and delivers on enterprise-wide analytical projects and supports the effort to provide cross-functional collaboration on data and actionable intelligence. Employs primary and secondary research strategies and coordinates analytics with third party resources and research organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, data science, business, marketing, aviation management or related field.
  • Five (5) years of professional experience in data science, business intelligence, statistical analysis or similar disciplines.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
  • Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in ML/AI concepts.
  • Knowledge of marketing, business trends, economics, and statistical analysis.
  • Skill in communicating orally and in writing.
  • Ability to prepare and present reports, concepts, and ideas and to coordinate with other Airport departments.
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage coalitions and campaigns to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels, both within and outside the organization.
  • Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to develop, perform and execute statistical analyses.
  • Ability to travel as necessary both domestically and internationally.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Promotes and supports the operationalization and adoption of the Data 360 initiative: assist in driving tenets of data democratization for business users across the airport.
  • Advocates and promotes collaboration across departments/systems to develop, research, evaluate, and leverage core data analytics.
  • Participate in the development of standardized reporting and KPIs across the enterprise.
  • Develops and produces VP and executive level reports, dashboards and other analytics to enhance decision making and accelerate execution of business strategy.
  • Partners with the ITS in supporting the internal and external data ecosystem.
  • Supports DFW’s data strategy, leads in the Information Management process, and assists in driving results in partnership with DFW ITS in the Data Management process.
  • Supports, demonstrates knowledge of, and participates in the implementation/administration of Data Governance program.
  • Participate in the preparation and follow through of industry-related conferences, and other meetings.
  • Participates in other cross-departmental research and analytics projects for DFW as needed.
  • Participate in data and analysis tool selection (new tools) and evaluation process (existing tool set)
  • Research and assist in the implementation of new methodologies to continually deliver added business value to internal and external customers.
  • Advocates and promotes efforts to implement DFW’s data catalogue. Participates and provides support to departments and managers in the gathering, generation, and documentation efforts of metadata.
  • Provides secondary support to Aviation Analytics team as needed.
  • Assist in monitoring key aviation performance metrics on a regular basis and recommend action plans to address issues.
