We are looking for a Data Engineer who will join our rapidly growing team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience or over 5 completed projects
  • Knowledge of data management fundamentals (data modeling, ELT/ETL, data quality, metadata management, data warehouse/lakes patterns, distributed systems)
  • AWS/Azure cloud
  • Snowflake and Databricks are must-haves
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and its variations among popular databases
  • Experience with some modern relational databases
  • Knowledge of the programming language Python

Responsibilities

  • Develop, operate, optimize, test, and maintain the business's data warehouse, as well as develop ETL processes, cube development for database and performance administration, and dimensional designing of table structures
  • Drive the full life-cycle of back-end development of the business's data warehouse, as well as develop ETL processes, cube development for database and performance administration, and dimensional designing of table structures
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
  • Define data retention policies
  • Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
  • Choose and integrate tools for monitoring, managing, alerting, and improving customer database performance
  • Develop and implement automated processes that ensure uninterrupted updating and correction of database vulnerabilities
  • Assemble large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements
