This position is within our Information Technology team. As part of continued growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data Engineer. As a member of the Science Research Technology team, this individual will help design, build, and scale data-driven solutions for the Science Analysts, especially in the Equity space.

Requirements

Strong experience in Data Science
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with SQL.
Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows using tools such as Airflow, Glue or similar orchestration frameworks.
Proficiency with cloud platforms, especially AWS (S3, Lambda, Batch).
Experience with one or more modern data architectures (Snowflake, DataBricks, Fabric).
Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, data governance, and metadata management best practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git‑based workflows, containerization (Docker), and modern software engineering practices.
Hands‑on experience developing, deploying, and testing solutions in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Strong experience debugging, optimizing, and performance‑tuning high‑volume data pipelines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross‑functional teams including data scientists, researchers, and business partners.
Ability to work in Agile environments and deliver in fast‑paced, mission‑critical settings.
Proactive problem solver who can independently drive solutions end‑to‑end.
5+ years of experience
