About The Position
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities: Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting data into Snowflake Develop and manage Snowflake Tasks for scheduling and automating workflows Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis - in Snowflake Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs As a Senior Data Engineer, you will ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all pipelines Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues
Requirements
- Proven experience with Snowflake, including data ingestion and task orchestration
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline frameworks
- Experience with Amazon QuickSight for data visualization and reporting
- Strong understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write and debug complex queries
- Exposure to Cortex or similar platforms
- Background in AI/ML concepts and workflows
