About The Position

OGC is a boutique research and consulting agency specializing in data-driven strategy, market research, analytics, and Customer Experience (CX) program design. They partner with some of the world’s leading organizations across industries including Telecommunications, Financial Services, Retail, Hospitality, and Software, helping them turn complex data into meaningful, actionable insights. The agency is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their team in a client-embedded capacity, supporting a large, global organization’s Customer Experience function. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys working directly with stakeholders, navigating complex data environments, and translating business questions into clear, data-backed answers. You will act as a dedicated data partner to business leaders, supporting ongoing data requests as well as proactive analysis. This role sits at the intersection of data exploration, stakeholder engagement, and CX strategy, requiring both strong technical skills and business understanding. You’ll work across multiple data sources bringing together operational and feedback data to uncover trends, identify gaps, and support decision-making. This is a remote, full-time role aligned with US East Coast hours.

Requirements

  • A curious, self-starter who enjoys digging into data and asking “why”
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong documentation skills
  • Comfortable working independently while managing multiple stakeholder requests
  • Able to balance ad-hoc analysis with building scalable solutions
  • Strong communicator who can confidently interact with senior stakeholders
  • 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role
  • Advanced SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, views, stored procedures, etc.)
  • Experience working with large, complex, or multi-source datasets
  • Strong ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable in a client-facing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel)
  • Exposure to Customer Experience (CX), product, or operational data

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into structured analysis
  • Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract and manipulate large, complex datasets
  • Combine customer feedback and operational data to identify trends in sentiment, behavior, and experience
  • Build repeatable data processes and workflows to support ongoing CX initiatives
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key metrics and performance
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to validate data sources, definitions, and business logic
  • Support the evolution of CX processes by improving how data is captured, structured, and utilized
  • Contribute to documentation and best practices for data usage and reporting
