What you'll do... Position: Senior Data Analyst Job Location: 2101 SE Simple Savings Dr, Bentonville, AR 72712 Duties: Analyzes and interprets information for one or more initiative work streams to improve business efficiency by using various analytical methodologies; developing creative solutions within business areas that reduce cost and/or meet business goals; using judgment to assign what activities must be done; and ensuring data accuracy. Develops and directs one or more work streams of a cross-functional project to achieve desired results by ensuring understanding of scope of work; organizing timelines and deliverables; facilitating meetings involving project teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives; taking corrective action; and reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders. Collaborates cross-functionally on assignments with internal and external stakeholders to understand the results of data analyses and research by communicating results and findings. Develops tools that support decision making and business cases by summarizing needed information; determining what information must be reported; ensuring customer needs are met; and analyzing an initiative's impact to the business. Assumes duties of Project Manager III, Innovation in the absence of the Project Manager III, Innovation by attending meetings; working directly with the project team members on specific projects and analyses; performing analyses; providing directional advice and guidance related to defined logistical issues; and determining which issues should be elevated to a higher priority. Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related filed plus 2 years of data analytics experience or related experience. Skills Required: Must have experience with: Data Querying using SQL through large datasets and Optimizing queries / processes; Designing and implementing dashboards with Tableau and Power BI; Database Management Systems and data warehouses; Coding in Python Language; Exploratory data analysis with Data Cleaning and Preparation; Microsoft Excel or similar tool; Creating / maintaining scheduled jobs and scripts and using tools like Tableau Prep for ETL routines; Implementing technical documentation to facilitate maintenance and knowledge sharing; Ensuring Data Governance / Data Quality; Understanding requirements, collaborating with different teams, and communicating data insights for stakeholders and non-technical audiences with varying levels of technical expertise; Descriptive analysis as part of Data mining to summarize data and uncover patterns / trends; and Maintaining existing reports, dashboards, or other tools by providing technical support, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
