About The Position

The Senior Data Analyst leads the end-to-end data lifecycle—from designing complex queries to presenting predictive insights to executives. They are responsible for identifying trends that drive revenue, optimizing operational efficiency, and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence (BI) technologies, including Power BI and SQL querying.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain complex dashboards, reports, and alerts, as well as to create requirement specifications, technical designs, and user training documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and provide clear instructions to team members.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a history of mentoring team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure to resolve issues and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, responding promptly to requests for assistance and providing support that aligns with user needs.
  • A commitment to staying updated on industry trends and new technologies related to data analytics and BI.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Seven or more years of experience in a data-focused technology role, including data warehousing, business intelligence, or data analytics.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, and database management is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for data warehouse projects, from planning and design to implementation and support.
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions for data reporting and analytics.
  • Develop, create, and modify query-based dashboards, reports, KPIs, and advanced analytics to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Stay current with advancements in data warehousing, business intelligence (BI) technologies, and analytics to bring innovative solutions to the team.
  • Be available for on-call support as assigned by the manager, providing prompt assistance to resolve data reporting and database-related issues.
  • Provide technical advice, assistance, and training to users, helping them understand and utilize data reporting tools effectively.
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation for the data warehouse team.
  • Ensure that best practices for data management, storage, and retrieval are followed across all data warehouse projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the department’s and organization’s goals.
