About The Position

The TekSynap is seeking a Senior Data Analyst. The Senior Data Analyst serves as Key Personnel under the NSWCDD Corporate IT Services contract. This position provides advanced analytical, design, and data management expertise supporting Navy enterprise systems. The Senior Data Analyst develops, integrates, and maintains data warehousing, visualization, and integration capabilities to enhance decision support, reporting, and operational efficiency across the NSWCDD IT enterprise. Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Professional with SQL, data integration tools, ETL processes, data warehousing design, and report generation.
Understanding of ERP systems, Working Capital Fund (WCF) methods, and Navy enterprise financial systems.
Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience related to data warehousing, integration, or analytics. Experience must include requirements definition, logical and physical data modeling, database design, and SQL optimization.
US Citizenship
Clearance requirement: Secret (T3 Investigation)

Nice To Haves

Data analytics or database certification (e.g., CompTIA Data+ Microsoft Certified Data Analyst, or equivalent) preferred

Responsibilities

Lead analysis, design, and development of enterprise data warehousing and integration capabilities.
Define requirements and develop application designs, including logical data models, data interface specifications, and performance tuning strategies.
Perform structured query language (SQL) development and data validation specifications for analytical and reporting systems.
Support database and integration solutions to meet Navy financial, ERP, and human resource system needs.
Lead data quality assurance initiatives, identify inconsistencies, and ensure accuracy across multiple data sources.
Support legacy data migration and modernization efforts through ETL and data mapping processes.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and systems engineering teams to ensure compliance with DoD and Navy data protection requirements.
Develop dashboards and automated reporting tools for enterprise-level performance tracking.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define key metrics and ensure alignment with mission and operational goals.
