About The Position

Sodexo is searching for a Senior Data Analyst Experience to support our healthcare operations at Tampa General Hospital. Tampa General Hospital is 1,100-bed specialty teaching hospital located in downtown Tampa, FL. Tampa General has been nationally ranked by US News and is the number 2 overall hospital in Florida. . This position analyzes patient quality data in conjunction with operational metrics to drive improvement of quality outcomes relative to the patient experience for food service across a large system. The ideal candidate will mine patient data from multiple sources and work in conjunction with operational teams in formulating and hardwiring SMART plans for continued quantifiable results.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 3 years in data analysis or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and improves Diet Office call efficiencies by analyzing average call times, abandoned call rates, and service-level trends.
  • Identifies workflow bottlenecks and implements process improvements to enhance responsiveness and patient satisfaction.
  • Extracts and interprets operational data from OMD and other nutrition systems to identify performance patterns across comparable facilities.
  • Conducts internal analysis using TGH systems and tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Utilizes hospital patient satisfaction metrics to uncover service trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Performs gap analyses for both retail and patient-facing services to strengthen operational consistency and quality.
  • Applies LEAN methodologies to project future operational outcomes and develop sustainable improvement strategies.
  • Designs and implements long-term plans that align with organizational goals and enhance service delivery.
  • Trains on-site leadership teams in data analytics, interpretation, and action planning.
  • Guides leaders through next steps for operational improvement, ensuring accountability and measurable progress.
  • Support data surveillance and analytics around new program enhancement.
  • Be able to deliver superior results by directing and motivating a team of employees to complete assigned responsibilities
