About The Position

As the Senior Data Analyst for the Best Buy Health eCommerce team you will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that optimize online channel performance and drive business growth. This role focuses on developing and maintaining reporting frameworks, dashboards, and analytics that measure key ecommerce metrics and inform strategic decisions. The analyst will interpret complex data sets, including UX and behavioral data, to uncover trends and opportunities that enhance customer experience and conversion rates. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate business findings into website and channel optimizations, ensuring data-driven improvements across the ecommerce ecosystem. This position requires strong technical expertise in data analysis tools, a deep understanding of ecommerce KPIs, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders. As the ideal candidate, you will combine analytical rigor with business acumen to deliver recommendations that have measurable impact. This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in digital analytics and eCommerce performance analysis required
  • 4+ years’ experience in a data related role with demonstrated ability to connect dots, spot trends, and tell a story with data required
  • 2 years experience using data visualization and data warehouse tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, BigQuery) required
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling, and dashboard creation for actionable insights required
  • Strong understanding of conversion optimization and digital marketing metrics required

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data daily from GA4, ContentSquare, Shopify Analytics, and other sources to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders and explain the why.
  • Build and maintain visual dashboards using Tableau or other tools to highlight performance and progress toward goals.
  • Partner with marketing to optimize campaigns and improve conversion funnels.
  • Identify friction points in the customer journey and recommend solutions.
  • Support forecasting for key metrics such as conversion rate, sales, and product-level performance.
