Consistently demonstrates a spirit of helpfulness in servicing the needs of customers by making every effort to exceed expectations and thereby strengthening existing and fostering new customer relationships. Processes all customer transactions at the CSR window by receiving funds, processing transactions via the computer terminal and paying out funds as required. Sells money orders, cashiers checks, and traveler's checks; accepts stop payment orders. Follows all Bank security and operational policies and procedures. Demonstrates excellent customer service and professionalism at all times both with internal and external customers. Functions as a role model for CSR staff, instructing , assisting and problem solving as needed. Performs Vault, ATM, Brink's shipment, balancing the branch, notary and basic IRA responsibilities. Has supervisor override authority. Completes branch opening and closing procedures when necessary. Processes passbook loans; redeems bonds; and audits traveler's checks. Knows and is able to instruct others in their daily responsibilities (night deposit, mail, etc.). Fully capable of performing all of these functions without supervision. Identifies client banking needs and recommends appropriate bank products and services. Assumes occasional supervisory responsibilities during the absence of the Branch Manager and Assistant Manager. Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
