About The Position

Arcadis, a leading environmental engineering and consulting firm, is looking to hire a Senior Custom Digital Solutions Team Lead to support our Integrated Sustainability and Compliance (ISC) Business Unit which sits within the larger Global Resilience Business Area. ISC is comprised of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Group, the Sustainable Advisory (SA) Group and the Digital EHS&SA Group. This position will in part have a wider role with Arcadis' focus clients and work on market leading Digital propositions (Software architect, Custom app development, designing analytics on Cloud platforms) including Artificial Intelligence. We're looking for a proven leader that can create and implement a dynamic business plan that identifies a strategy for business growth that includes tactical strategies to create success. You will manage a team of operational delivery staff (project managers, technical analysts and solution architects) to execute on profitable projects. In addition, you will be involved in business development and client facing activities with the support of the Digital EHS&S business development team. Success will result in sustained and profitable growth, identification and development of new creative initiatives, delighted clients through their experience with our teams and career growth by our people. Requirements

  • Experience with environmental, health, safety and sustainability digital solutions and related digital market.
  • Bachelor's degree and experience in any of the branches of Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, IT related field or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 15 years relevant work experience. (10+ years of experience in full lifecycle of software development projects)
  • Hands-on experience developing and integrating AI solutions, such as machine learning models, LLMs, or generative AI tools, within EHS&S or enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure, Power Platform, Power BI, Power Pages, SQL Server) experience with cloud-based integrations and low-code/no-code development is highly desirable.
  • Proven leader in digital and consulting skill sets which Arcadis is using pervasively for client programs - like customer experience (CX), design thinking, diagnostic/predictive analytics to stay at the forefront of relevant and innovative approaches as a consultant

Responsibilities

  • Oversee delivery of Custom Digital projects
  • Manage a team of solution-oriented delivery staff
  • Deliver AI-centric guidance and solutions to clients to assist them in adopting this technology and provide a vision internal to Arcadis for incorporating it into project delivery.
  • Deliver digital tools, apps, and embedded solutions that address clients' current needs and pain points while offering a vision for how Arcadis can move from a disparate collection of tools and platforms to a harmonious digital ecosystem comprised of interconnected solutions
  • Use SQL data management in custom solutions and for data migration, enabling robust backend data management and data loading
  • Deliver BI and Analytics solutions that address clients' current needs and pain points while offering a vision for how Arcadis can offer a programmatic approach to generating continuous business value
  • Provide client facing support with key accounts; and identify and drive development of custom digital solution opportunities.

  • The salary range for this position is $113,933 - $208,012.
  • Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
