Senior Custom Application Full Stack Developer
About The Position
Our client, a leading global healthcare/pharmaceutical organization, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Custom Application Full Stack Developer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in modern front-end and back-end technologies, along with strong capabilities in solution design, architecture discussions, and delivering scalable, high-performance applications within an agile/SCRUM environment. This is a 6-month contractual position with a strong likelihood of extension. The role involves a two-round interview process, and supports a healthcare/pharma client project.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full stack software development
- Strong hands-on experience with React and/or Angular for front-end development
- Extensive backend development experience using Node.js and/or FastAPI (Python)
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar
- Strong expertise in system design, architecture, and scalable application development
- Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Strong understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and stakeholder interactions in a global environment
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly desirable
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of custom web applications using modern full stack technologies including React, Angular, Node.js, and FastAPI
- Design and participate in technical solution architecture, system design discussions, and brainstorming sessions with stakeholders
- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance front-end and back-end components
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, performance optimization, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and DevOps engineers in an agile/SCRUM environment
- Implement robust logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership where required
