About The Position

The Cricket Coach is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering effective coaching sessions to develop players’ skills, fitness, and understanding of the game. The coach will foster a positive team environment, emphasize sportsmanship and discipline, and help players reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Requirements

Proven experience in playing and/or coaching cricket at a competitive level.
Coaching certification from a recognized cricket board (e.g., ECB, BCCI, ICC Level 1–3).
Strong understanding of cricket techniques, rules, and strategies.
Excellent communication, motivational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work with players of different ages and skill levels.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Nice To Haves

First aid certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct regular training sessions focusing on batting, bowling, fielding, and game strategy.
Develop and implement season-long coaching programs tailored to individual and team development.
Analyze players’ performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills and techniques.
Prepare the team for matches, tournaments, and competitions.
Promote teamwork, discipline, and respect both during training and in competition.
Identify and nurture emerging talent within the team or academy.
Maintain player records, attendance, and progress reports.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during training and matches.
Collaborate with assistant coaches, trainers, and management staff.
Represent the team or organization in a professional manner.
