Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Credit Risk Specialist in Irving, TX. Job Role and Responsibility: Contribute to the analysis and preparation of reports for stakeholders. Participate in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators, senior management and senior portfolio managers. Work on automation of SAS codes to create daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for stakeholders. Engage with teams across Management Reporting to understand current reporting deliverables. Make changes in the codes per requirements, testing them on Unix, productionalize the codes using shell scripting and adding to production using Bitbucket. Support management with preparation of materials tracking automation progress. Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address. Travel required: None.

Requirements

  • Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • Amount and type of experience required: Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving credit risk experience.
  • Specific skills required: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Experience with prior credit underwriting, risk analytics or data analytics
  • Experience with SAS and SQL data processing
  • Experience with lending products like cards or personal loans
  • Experience building strategies/decision trees using E- Miner or R
  • Ability to understand business problems and identify data driven solutions.
