The Senior Credit & Collections Specialist is responsible for evaluating and managing customer credit risk to support sound decision-making and protect Crestron’s financial position. This role involves reviewing the creditworthiness of businesses—particularly for complex and sophisticated transactions—to assess the risk associated with extending credit. The position also manages a portfolio of accounts and is accountable for accounts receivable collections and order releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 5-7 years of experience in Credit and Collections
  • Financial Statement Analysis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with SAP, BillTrust, SideTrade, High Radius and Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel
  • The ability to effectively represent Crestron Electronics, Inc. to customers and all stakeholders involved in the credit and collections process
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to deal with fast-paced environment and to multitask

Responsibilities

  • Collection of AR: Provide excellent customer service regarding collection issues, discrepancies and short payments, which includes professional communication and timely responses
  • Ability to monitor and release orders based on credit availability, AR status and overall credit worthiness
  • Analyze, process and review credit limit increase requests on existing accounts using credit report information, payment trend analysis, obtaining and reviewing customer financial statements
  • Manage hold order report and provide to EVP monthly. Manage weekly tax reports. Provide and manage monthly reports (new dealer, salesforce, UCC continuations, Moody’s, credit agencies)
  • Understand and adhere to company credit policies, procedures and best practices
  • Create and maintain credit history files and save wires report into credit directory
