About The Position

The Senior Credit Administration Analyst is responsible for preparing and enhancing credit and loan portfolio reporting and analysis. Responsibilities include conducting data integrity, balancing reports and preparation of summary memorandums. This position requires experience working on complex datasets, reporting software and a natural attention to detail and ability to recognize data trends.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI
  • Comfortable with contributing to data warehousing and data pipeline discussions
  • Willing and able to learn new data and analytic tools as required
  • Python and relevant data and analytic packages (e.g., numpy, pandas, etc.)

  • Making recommendations for adoption of new data and analytic tools.
  • Prior experience working for a Bank or other financial institution.

Responsibilities

  • Management of commercial real estate stress test model and responsible for preparation of quarterly reports to include ad hoc analysis of output.
  • Responsible for preparation and distribution of various weekly, monthly and quarterly loan portfolio reporting to include Loan Concentrations, Credit Policy Exceptions and Special Assets.
  • Prepare cover memos as necessary to identify trends and present findings to Credit Administration Management.
  • Responsible for the production of automated reports and troubleshooting as necessary to ensure recurrence.
  • Analyze and review current reporting to evaluate effectiveness and potential for data enhancements.
  • Write and maintain related processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a repeatable and documented validation process for assigned reports.
  • Identify and present any new or updated reporting needs to enhance portfolio management to Deputy Chief Credit Officer and/or related Committees.
  • Participate in various credit-related committee meetings as necessary as the data expert and to remain informed about the loan portfolio and any reporting enhancements or new requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support for various processes and functions associated with the overall administration of credit within the Bank.
  • Produce and prepare ad hoc reports as necessary for Credit Administration and related stakeholders.
  • Train existing or new staff on reporting function to create redundancy within the Department.
  • Complies with all State and Federal Banking regulatory requirements, including but not limited to: BSA, Anti-Money Laundering OFAC, CIP, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, Sexual Harassment, Information Security and privacy requirements. This position will elevate suspicious activity to supervisory staff and/or BSA department. Completes compliance and other technical training workshops as assigned.
