About The Position

Hi! We are Manyone For our Manyone New York City team in Brooklyn, we’re looking for a Senior Creative Project Manager with ample experience in strategic digital design to elevate our project organization and keep both the team and the clients beautifully organized. It's important that you are located within a 2-hour commute of Brooklyn Navy Yards. As part of the Brooklyn, NY office, you'll be part of a tightly knit team working across disciplines and team boundaries to deliver industry-shaping solutions to businesses both in the US and worldwide. Your job: Your role is broader than a traditional Project Manager: you’ll own large parts of the operations related to the client, from contracts and terms to the final delivery, follow up and management of stakeholder relationships on the client side. You’ll not only manage the operations of projects but also understand the strategic impact of projects on our clients’ business and can articulate this to the client, be it in strategic proposals, workshops or discovery calls. Part of the role will be managing general operations for the team, making sure that invoices, payments and other important tasks get done.

Requirements

  • At least 6 - 8 years experience from a similar, highly collaborative, and adaptive agency environment and a desire to become a true project management and project organization master
  • You might have a natural ability to understand and organize creative processes and guide clients through a strategic design process
  • You’re an excellent communicator and you can detect and act on changes quickly and decisively
  • Experience with design, research and strategy projects within digital, brand and/or service design
  • Experience taking projects from pitch through delivery with minimal oversight, including experience in project proposals and planning in pre-sale processes
  • A very solid understanding of design projects and processes spanning insights, strategy, concepts/UX, digital design and technology
  • A problem-solving approach and readiness to always help your colleagues
  • Excellent English communication skills – both verbally and written
  • Located within a 2-hour commute of Brooklyn Navy Yards and have a work visa
  • We are looking for a classic T profile. Running project finances, timelines and deliverables as the foundation, we are excited if you have a passion for an adjacent skill (eg. game theory, workshop facilitation, code etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate week-to-week project tasks with the team and the client
  • Creating detailed project plans for complex projects
  • Listen to client feedback and requests and defining new design tasks
  • Work with the team to deliver projects on time and target
  • Work together with Manyone’s strategists and designers to offer valuable advice to clients about both existing and potential future projects
  • Identify opportunities and pain points on the client side and speak to how strategic design can be part of a solution
  • Take part in the entire design process, from insights to launch
  • Cross collaborate with team leads globally to develop scopes and create project budgets
  • Continuously work on improving processes both in terms of delivery of the work and the client experience
  • Manage team operations including invoices, payments, team resource bookings etc.
