About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and proactive healthcare regulatory attorney to serve as the lead counsel and trusted legal advisor for Integrity Health and its portfolio of over 100 companies. The role involves daily advice on regulatory and compliance matters on the federal and state levels, negotiating complex commercial transactions, and supporting strategic initiatives across Integrity Health.

Requirements

  • Strong healthcare regulatory background with 4–6 years of experience at a CMS, a state Department of Insurance, NAIC, a law firm, or in-house legal department at a broker or carrier.
  • Solid transactional background in commercial agreements, M&A, or fund-related work.
  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proactive, confident leader with the ability to provide real-time clear, practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn and address diverse legal issues, including reorganizations, regulatory matters, and product-specific considerations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Solutions-focused mindset with willingness to “roll up sleeves” and tackle complex challenges.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and commitment to professional growth.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 4–6 years of experience in a top-tier law firm or comparable in-house role.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary legal advisor for Integrity Health, leading regulatory and transactional work, supporting all portfolio companies.
  • Advise on regulatory considerations impacting healthcare products, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D, ACA, ICHRA, and ancillary products.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements with key counterparties.
  • Partner with Integrity Health executive team (including the President, C-level leaders, and compliance team) to manage and execute strategic, corporate, and regulatory reorganizations.
  • Advise the licensing team on matters related to DRLP, agency and producer license issues as they arise.
  • Provide legal support for advisor and client transitions, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with compliance and regulatory teams to maintain robust internal processes for transactions and risk management.
  • Review and approve responses to audits from CMS, state Departments of Insurance, and Carrier partners.
  • Dispute resolution with regards to complaints and inquiries from CMS, state Departments of Insurance, and Carrier partners.
  • Prepare and deliver regulatory training to portfolio companies and agents related to regulatory requirements including sales practices.
  • Support strategic objectives in a collaborative, solutions-oriented manner.
