SUMMARY: This position requires a senior level person who will work with construction managers, project managers and discipline leaders in planning and coordination of company’s estimating needs in support of at-risk design/build or construction projects as well as our A/E services group. Responsibilities include reviewing proposal drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work and required contents of estimate or bid. Candidate will be skilled at preparing discipline estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work by CSI Division. Maintaining files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, sales brochures, prices lists, etc. May review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials. Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction such as constructability revues and plan and specification coordination.

Requirements

This position prefers a four-year degree, preferably in architecture/engineering or construction management and minimum of fifteen years’ experience.
Experience with MS Office products required.
