About The Position

Amprod is a growing manufacturing company with multiple divisions seeking an experienced Senior Cost Accountant. This role partners with the Controller and Director of Finance to deliver accurate cost analysis, margin insights, and operational metrics that support informed business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of cost accounting experience
• Manufacturing experience required
• Standard costing and job costing experience required
• ERP experience (Syteline preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must meet safety, attendance, and physical job requirements

Nice To Haves

• CPA or CMA preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
• Analyze inventory reserves and slow-moving stock
• Maintain standard costs and perform cost roll-ups
• Perform material, labor, and overhead variance analysis
• Analyze job-level costs and profitability
• Provide margin analysis, KPIs, and operational metrics
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close
• Assist with audits and financial reporting
• Support Shop-Trak implementation and usage
