About The Position

A nationally recognized real estate and asset management firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its collaborative finance team. This role offers exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and general ledger management across multiple entities. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business software applications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end billing and revenue review
• Prepare and monitor recurring and non-recurring journal entries
• Maintain accurate general ledgers in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with quarterly financial statement preparation and consolidation
• Research and document unique accounting treatments
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Develop spreadsheets for account analysis and journal entries
• Create and distribute reports to senior management
• Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Support annual audits and compile audit schedules
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and controls
• Participate in special projects as needed
