About The Position

The Senior Accountant will be primarily responsible for accounting related to equity, acquisitions and special projects as designated by the Director of Financial Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equity rollforward schedules for a high volume of minority interest owners and prepare related journal entries
• Ensure capitalization table accurately reflects current entity ownership
• Work with the legal department on ownership changes and related entity valuations
• Responsible for allocation of net income to minority owners through a complex ownership structure
• Account for monthly transactions and interest accruals on related-party and intercompany debt
• Prepare equity, investments, and related-party account reconciliations
• Calculate and coordinate payment of minority interest owners’ monthly/quarterly cash distributions
• Track acquisition related holdback payments, facilitating approval and payment
• Work closely with operational accounting to explain changes in account balances and provide supporting documentation
• Assist in the preparation of financial statement audit materials, including the consolidated statement of stockholders’ equity
