About The Position

The Senior Copywriter will ideate, execute, and deliver compelling 360 global campaign copy across our brand, encompassing both evergreen and new product launches. This role will also own and drive high-impact copy across our most commercially critical channels, with a specific emphasis on Sephora marketplace copy and full-funnel campaign development, from ideation through execution. This position is deeply embedded in the campaign and retail ecosystem. It is high-output, fast-paced, and performance-minded role ideal for someone energized by momentum and motivated by seeing their ideas go live quickly and at scale. They will drive the execution of copy and brand voice across multiple functions of the brand, elevating and ensuring consistent messaging occurs across all customer-facing points, including OOH, Paid, Retail, DTC, and Education. A successful candidate must be an expert in creative storytelling and sharp copywriting, while working collaboratively with the creative & brand team to achieve the highest possible standards for content. They will understand customer journeys from first impression to point of sale, and have a strong working knowledge of digital, social, retail environments, and OOH, while tailoring copy to service communication channels and solve business challenges creatively.

Requirements

  • 6+ years professional copywriting experience, with 2+ years in senior-level creative roles (Creative Lead, Senior Brand Copywriter, or similar)
  • Experience writing smart skincare copy and creating culturally provocative work
  • Demonstrated experience owning retail marketplace copy (Sephora and/or Amazon strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead integrated campaigns from concept through execution
  • Experience driving product launch storytelling at scale
  • Strong creative portfolio with high visibility, produced work (a portfolio link required)
  • Experience working in lean team structures, operating with autonomy/minimal oversight
  • Ability to adapt brand voice across platforms and authentically adjust without losing the essence of the brand
  • Ability to iterate swiftly and balance multiple projects in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines, collaborate effectively across diverse teams, and adapt work hours to support global partnerships across different time zones

Responsibilities

  • Own the global creation of big ideas, campaign territories/positioning, video scripts, and cross-channel copy
  • Own the localization, translation, and regulatory processes for all required copy.
  • Continue to build and authentically adjust brand voice across platforms and creative work.
  • Leverage consumer insights to dive deep into brand initiatives to drive smarter, relevant, strategic thinking.
  • Facilitate critical conversations and drive impactful outcomes through a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and creatives to help keep projects on brand and on track.
