DTN is seeking a Senior Copywriter to lead the development of compelling, high-performing copy across digital, brand, and campaign initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who can translate complex ideas into clear, persuasive messaging while maintaining a consistent brand voice across channels. This full-time, in-house role is part of our creative team and will write and edit content for a variety of projects including email, digital ads, web, video, and sales enablement. The Senior Copywriter works closely with campaign managers, marketing operations, communications, designers, and key stakeholders to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, craft and version persuasive messaging across DTN’s industries and solutions.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or high-growth marketing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating long-form and short-form copy across multiple channels.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
  • Proven ability to balance creativity with performance-driven goals and short turnaround times in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with B2B, SaaS, or data-driven marketing, especially software and analytics messaging.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and conversion-focused copywriting.
  • Leadership, mentorship, or experience editing other writers’ work.
  • Comfort operating in a matrixed, global environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute copy for brand campaigns, websites, landing pages, email marketing, social media, paid media, video, and sales enablement materials.
  • Lead messaging strategy for major campaigns and product initiatives, translating marketing and product value input into strong concepts and copy.
  • Research and maintain knowledge of target audiences, customer pain points, personas, key industries, and trends to strengthen relevance and impact.
  • Write original, persuasive demand gen and brand copy, adapting voice, style, and tone based on industry, solution, company, or persona.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, video teams, marketers, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive creative concepts from brief through final delivery.
  • Edit and refine copy produced by other writers to ensure clarity, tone, accuracy, and brand alignment.
  • Monitor copy performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively recommending optimizations and testing new approaches.
  • Ensure all copy meets brand guidelines, content standards, legal requirements, and performance objectives.
  • Contribute to creative briefs, content calendars, and campaign planning, presenting concepts and deliverables to stakeholders for review and approval.
