Job overview and responsibilities Assists managers and supervisors by performing advanced administrative activities and functions associated with scheduling, payroll, accounts payable, report preparation and wellness administration associated with office and personnel functions in a Station Operations office.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or education equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office primarily Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word
  • Prior Badging Experience
  • Ability to analyze and report out on data
  • Strong and positive communication skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to walk long distances including between terminals, and ascending/descending stairs
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks such as standing and carrying items up to 50lbs as needed
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to maintain composure in high volume/high pressure situations
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development and maintenance of advance work schedules for station operation functions utilizing computer generated volume data and staffing guidelines
  • Forecasts future manpower requirements and may assist in coordinating the adjustment/utilization of staffing resources to meet workload requirements to assure efficient cost and performance control
  • Develops and maintains statistical data and prepares information and reports pertaining to budgets, office forecasts, operations and performance
  • Makes local purchases within authorized limits, maintains office supplies and processes local statements for payment
  • Performs personnel-related duties including filing, processing payroll in accordance with provisions of union agreements and company policy
  • Provides support for management by coordination and preparation of reports associated with personnel functions
  • Provides work direction, guidance and training for the Clerk – Station Operations (as necessary)
