We are looking for a senior field technician that has at least 5 years’ experience or more with Siemens Desigo and/or Distech Controls or at a minimum Tridium/Niagara. We will not consider any candidates that don’t have extensive knowledge of one of these three systems. He will need to be able to setup projects from the ground up and assist with start-up of complex system to include Air and Water systems. Needs to be able to write programs, understand control wiring, database creation, system graphics and would need a strong mechanical understanding. PLC, Manufacturing, Process controls experience is not applicable to this senior BAS position. Senior controls technician: Will be responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of a complete building control systems to meet the intent of the project documents or owner. Will develop complex systems programs, commissioning tests, and troubleshoot to ensure proper operations of the building control system. Must be able to provide detailed reports and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, engineers, and other technicians.
