Support Engineering projects to install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot complex automated equipment Diagnose and resolve complex electrical/controls problems including non-routine issues Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) including basic and ladder logic to read/write basic wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to diagnosis problems The position will work independently to meet project requirements with limited supervision Help educate lower-level technicians through on the job training as needed Fabricate and Install control and power panels Reviews diagrams, drawings and specifications for design, construction and/or alteration of instrument and control systems Evaluates and recommends improvements for current equipment. Troubleshoot and repair of low voltage electrical systems (600VAC and below) Oversee and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols to guarantee the safe deactivation and isolation of equipment, ensuring energy control procedures are correctly applied to prevent inadvertent machine startup or hazardous energy discharge during repair or maintenance, in line with OSHA regulations and organizational safety guidelines. Safely operates overhead cranes and hoisting equipment to move materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility. Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization. Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
