About The Position

The Senior Controller is a senior finance leader responsible for overseeing global accounting operations and ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role leads to all core accounting functions, manages the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, and ensures compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and applicable regulatory requirements. The Senior Controller plays a critical leadership role in optimizing and stabilizing the Company’s Oracle NetSuite ERP system, ensuring system integrity, financial accuracy, and scalable processes to support continued growth. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position requiring deep technical accounting expertise, strong internal controls experience and demonstrated success in ERP implementation and optimization. The ideal candidate brings experience in a government contracting environment, strong knowledge of revenue recognition and multi-entity consolidations, and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing accounting teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred.
  • 10–15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise with Oracle NetSuite ERP (required).
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Experience with multi-entity consolidations and international operations, including foreign currency accounting.
  • Experience in government contracting environments; familiarity with FAR/DFARS preferred.
  • Proven experience managing audits and maintaining strong internal controls.
  • Demonstrated success in ERP implementation or system optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and finalize the tail-end stabilization of Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation.
  • Identify and resolve system configuration gaps, workflow inefficiencies, and integration issues.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external consultants to implement system enhancements, automation initiatives, and financial process improvements.
  • Oversee post-go-live optimization, including troubleshooting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports, dashboards, workflows, and system controls within NetSuite.
  • Ensure data integrity and optimal performance of all NetSuite financial modules.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Oversee revenue recognition, including complex contracts, multi-element arrangements, and ASC 606 compliance as applicable.
  • Manage multi-entity consolidations, including foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations.
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis for executive leadership.
  • Direct all general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset functions.
  • Establish, maintain, and enhance internal controls in compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support annual financial audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government contracting regulations (including FAR/DFARS, as applicable).
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
