This role will support contract lifecycle activities for U.S. Government defense programs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • 6+ years of government contracting experience, specifically Department of Defense (Department of War)
  • Experience with FFP contracts in development, production, and sustainment lifecycle phases
  • Experience with FAR, DFAR, and TINA/CCOPD
  • Proven success leading complex negotiations and securing favorable outcomes
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary interface to Contracting Officers and prime contractor supply chain/contracting teams; manage customer communications and correspondence.
  • Lead compliant proposal development, including RFP/RFQ analysis.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts and modifications, including options, multi-year awards, and follow-on procurements.
  • Support Cost or Pricing Data (Truthful Cost or Pricing Data statute; formerly TINA) requirements, sweeps, and certifications; coordinate fact‑finding and DCAA/DCMA interactions.
  • Negotiate Undefinitized Contract Actions (UCAs) and definitization agreements, balancing schedule urgency with cost realism and risk mitigation.
  • Guide internal stakeholders on contractual interpretation, risk posture, and change management; influence program strategy and capture approaches.
