Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in federal contracting/subcontracting experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree (advanced degree desired)
  • CCCM, CFCM, CPCM or other relevant credentials desired
  • High level of business acumen – applies sound judgement
  • Market knowledge
  • Understanding of corporate policies and procedures
  • Ability to collaborate with executive leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of Federal acquisition concepts and rules
  • Proven staff management skills; emerging leadership skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to set priorities for self and staff
  • Ability to teach and mentor junior staff

Responsibilities

  • Full life cycle management of prime contracts and subcontracts.
  • Pre-award responsibilities include strategy, regulatory compliance, proposal support, agreement formation, knowledge transfer, and partner due diligence when CGI is a sub.
  • Post-award responsibilities include customer relationships, negotiation, contract filing, kick-off meetings, internal collaboration, industry relationships, risk reviews, audit support, and advising the business.
  • The Sr. Contracts Manager also supervises other contract management professionals and provides training as needed.
