As a Senior Contracts Administrator supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on-site in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve as a key business advisor and contracts authority on a high-profile national defense program. Through the IRES (Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions) contract, you will lead contract negotiations, ensure compliance with FAR and DFARS, support high-value proposals, and mentor junior contracts staff. The candidate will be responsible for the following: Contract Administration Support Contracts Management Lead in daily administration of contracts Create, maintain, and enforce processes for pre-final billing, contract modifications, limitations of funds, and other processes as assigned by Contracts Management Lead Draft and review contractual documents such as Limitation of Funds notifications, Memorandums, Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REA), and Notifications of Change Audit proposal documents, to include Basis of Estimate (BOEs), Bill of Materials (BOM), Cost Proposal, and other documents as required by the Government customer Ensure contract and proposal deliverable timelines and requirements are met for the IRES contract and all task orders Review proposals and ensure compliance with Request for Proposal (RFP) and base contract requirements Track, report, and resolve costs in excess for all task orders Provide data entry support, to include updating funding trackers and contract briefs Conduct other administrative duties as assigned Customer Relations Support task orders teams in identifying and resolving contractual concerns with the Government Lead contract discussions with the Government customer Serve as primary interface with the Government's Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) Support Contracts Manager in negotiations Support internal and external stakeholders, to include Government customers, Directors, Project Managers, and Finance Teams Leadership and Management Provide training and guidance to other members of the Contracts team Serve as business advisor to task order leadership in areas such as contract type, contract risk management, and performance measurement criteria Brief senior leadership on contracts status, as well as key issues impacting financial and technical performance The successful candidate will: Be comfortable interfacing with the Government customer on a daily basis Be able to perform tasks successfully with minimal guidance under short timelines. Be able to manage shifting work priorities. Be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as with others in a collaborative environment. Have strong written and verbal communication skills. Have a strong math aptitude. Be responsive, flexible, organized, and have a strong attention to detail.
